Refund Policy
Effective Date: August 3, 2023
Based on our services, we have established the following refund policies for different service types. Please review the refund conditions applicable to the service you are purchasing before making a purchase.
Refund Instructions
For products purchased during promotional activities, if the refund rules conflict with the promotional rules, the promotional rules will prevail. If the promotional rules state that refunds are not supported, refunds cannot be requested.
In the case of suspected abnormal/malicious returns, DIYLink reserves the right to deny the return request.
For device products such as cloud servers, billing is based on actual usage. In case of a refund, only the remaining value of the host will be refunded.
Refund Amount and Methods
Cash vouchers purchased with cash and coupons used during product purchases (gift amounts/discount codes) are non-refundable. Non-coupon fees used for product purchases will be refunded to the paying DIYLink account according to the payment method (cash) and payment ratio.
Refund Amount = Order Paid Amount - Resource Consumption Amount
Currently, the consumed amount is calculated in the following two ways:
(1) Based on Usage Duration
Consumed Amount = (Used Duration / Total Duration) * Original Order Price * Current Discount
Usage duration of less than 1 day is calculated as 1 day. The current discount is matched based on the used duration.
(2) Based on Usage Quantity
Consumed Amount = Used Quantity * Unit Price * Discount (matched with the system's current discount)
Coupons used during purchase (gift amounts/discount codes) are non-refundable. Cash balance will be refunded to the paying DIYLink account.
Refund After Upgrade
Refunds are still available for annual or monthly cloud servers upgraded after initial purchase.
The refund amount for new purchases will be calculated according to the platform's unified policy.
Refund Method
Self-service refunds are not supported for current products. You can request a return and refund by sending an email to [email protected]. Before requesting a return and refund, ensure that you meet the return instructions' conditions and that your data has been migrated.
